The idea of a computer mouse was introduced by Douglas Engelbart in December 9, 1968 .
It was made of wood, in the form of a cube on small wheels and one button.
This structure was called the mouse, as the wire sticking out of it, looked like a mouse tail.
Engineer Bill English was the first who gathered a computer mouse. There were two metal discs inside it: one turned when the mouse moved forward , another was responsible for moving the mouse to the side .
In 1970, the mouse was presented as a part of a personal computer , and resembled the modern computer mouse. It was with three buttons and instead drives were rollers and balls , its cost was $ 400.
