Happy Teacher's Day! / С Днем Учителя!
Today is a special day, my dear friends! Teacher's Day is today!:) And I as a teacher want to congratulate all my colleagues on our professional holiday. Wish you success and delight in your work! Teachers are used to put marks to their pupils. And here are the marks for teachers:

World Teachers' Day, held annually on October 5th since 1994, commemorates teachers’ organizations worldwide. Its aim is to mobilize support for teachers and to ensure that the needs of future generations will continue to be met by teachers.19 countries celebrate a common Teachers' Day on October 5: Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Canada, Estonia, Germany, Lithuania, Macedonia, Maldives, Mauritius, Republic of Moldova, Netherlands, Pakistan, Philippines, Kuwait, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
11 countries celebrate a common Teachers' Day on February 28: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Bahrain, UAE, and Oman.

Why God Created Teachers
When God created teachers,
He gave us special friends
To help us understand His world
And truly comprehend
The beauty and the wonder
Of everything we see,
And become a better person
With each discovery.
When God created teachers,
He gave us special guides
To show us ways in which to grow
So we can all decide
How to live and how to do
What's right instead of wrong,
To lead us so that we can lead
And learn how to be strong.
Why God created teachers,
In His wisdom and His grace,
Was to help us learn to make our world
A better, wiser place.
I want to say thanks to all of you, my dear pupils for your congratulations on this special (for me ;) )day. And want to remind all pupils in the world : Don't forget to congratulate your wonderful teachers on the Teacher's Day! ;)

International Translation Day/Международный день переводчиков
Happy International Translation Day!/С Международным Днем Переводчиков!
En: International Translation Day is celebrated every year on 30 September on the feast of St. Jerome, the Bible translator who is considered the patron saint of translators. The celebrations have been promoted by FIT (the International Federation of Translators) ever since it was set up in 1953. In 1991 FIT launched the idea of an officially recognised International Translation Day to show solidarity of the worldwide translation community in an effort to promote the translation profession in different countries. This is an opportunity to display pride in a profession that is becoming increasingly essential in the era of progressing globalisation.
Accept my congratulations all those who are interested in foreign languages and give the opportunity to understand the whole world!
Ru: Международный день переводчика отмечается каждый год 30 сентября на праздник Св. Иеронима, переводчика Библии, который считается покровителем переводчиков. Торжества были установлены Международной федерацией переводчиков(FIT),которая была создана в 1953 году. В 1991 FIT выдвинула идею официально признать Международный день переводчика в знак солидарности мирового сообщества по переводу в попытке содействовать переводу профессии в разных странах. Это возможность проявить гордость за профессию, которая становится все более важной в эпоху прогрессирующей глобализации.
